I had an excellent time in Las Vegas. Can't wait to go back. I took the train to/from Chicago (where I flew out from) and got mucho knitting done. I finally finished the scarf I'd been working on. I know I need to get a photo up. I still need to take one.
My next project is a poncho for my pregnant friend. She wanted a specific sweater, but I'm afraid it won't fit her now. So, I am making the poncho instead. I think it will make a great October birthday gift.
I started my Adobe Photoshop class on Tuesday. It will be good for me. I am also signed up for a rug hooking workshop next week. And I am taking a needle tatting class the following week.
Yesterday we celebrated Hannah's birthday. She turned five. She's such a big girl now. Right now her sister and mommy are taking a nap, so she and I have been hanging out. She's on the other computer right now playing with her new princess CD-ROM.
I booked a flight to DC to visit some friends. I am excited to go. I kind of like traveling without being forced to do it. Theresa has promised to cook up some of the African foods she learned to make when she lived in Guinea. I can't wait!
Tonight I will be heading to the gym for some weight training. This new diet and health regimen is kick ass! I've already lost 16 pounds. Yippee! posted by kristar 1:15 PM
