Just got back from NYC yesterday. It took all day to get home because of a delayed flight and a missed connection, but I am glad to be back. I came down with yet ANOTHER virus and I just couldn't enjoy the last half of the vacation like I would have wanted. Oh well. This coming weekend I will be going camping and the following weekend I am going to Vegas to hang out with some college friends. No more travel plans after that. I think it will be nice for a change.
I've been knitting a scarf. I am using a dishcloth pattern and some funky cotton yarn. I think it's starting to look really cool. Photos soon to come.
My first letter from Erik arrived yesterday. Sounds like he is enjoying Cote d'Ivoire. He is about finished with his training and will be moving to an area away from the coast. He will also be learning a new local language which I think he's excited about. :) posted by kristar 10:55 AM
